Parliamentary Protective Service (PPS)
Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) for Independent Medical Evaluations

The PPS is seeking Proposals from potential firms who have medical experience for the provision of Independent Medical Evaluation services for the Project located in the National Capital Region (NCR).

This is a one-step two-envelope submission process (Technical and Financial) to select the overall highest ranked Proponent who may then be invited to negotiate or to enter into a Contract with the PPS.

As a selected Proponent, it will be required to deliver the Work contemplated for this Project including, but not limited to, the following services:

Stream 1 - Independent Medical Evaluation (various medical expertise), including psychological evaluation.
Stream 2 - Medical Surveillance.
Stream 3 - General Fitness to Work
Stream 4 - Fitness to Carry Defensive Weapon Assessment.

To be considered, submissions must be received before the Closing Date and Time noted in the RFPQ document through the Electronic Bid Submission System. Refer to the Instructions to Proponents for all associated details.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFPQ document. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise.

The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the RFPQ documents.

It is anticipated that the contract will be in place for an initial term of two (2) years from the date of award with three (3) one-year extensions available to PPS. Refer to the procurement documents for further details.

Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Proposals on the forms that are available through Merx or as directed in the procurement documents.
The PPS retains the right to negotiate with the Proponents/Bidders on any aspect of the procurement.

Proposals may be submitted in either official language of Canada (English or French).

Proponents can obtain the award result once posted on Merx.
