The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) is a regulatory association in Ontario with more than 24,000 members and students. Since 2013, HRPA has been governed by the Registered Human Resources Professionals Act, 2013 (Ontario).
In 2023, the HRPA completed a reconfiguration of their physical space at 150 Bloor St West, Suite 200, Toronto. As a part of its commitment to sustainability, the Boardroom space is rented out to third parties. Currently the A/V system works intermittently for both staff and guests, and requires a daily reset which often takes time to reconfigure the settings.
The HRPA invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for assessing, troubleshooting, and potentially replacing the existing Audio-Visual (AV) technology in our boardroom. Our goal is to ensure seamless operation, high-quality audio and video performance, and a user-friendly experience for meetings, presentations, and video conferencing.
Our current boardroom AV setup includes:
- A Microsoft Teams Room system for video conferencing.
- Four (4) wall-mounted TVs.
- Ceiling-mounted speakers and microphones for audio coverage.
- Wired and wireless connectivity for content sharing.
We have been experiencing ongoing issues with the AV system, including:
- Audio clarity and microphone performance issues.
- Video performance inconsistencies across displays.
- Connectivity problems with conferencing and sharing.
- Integration and usability challenges with the Teams Room setup.
