This Call for Interest does not constitute a Call for Tenders or an Invitation to Tender. Furthermore, it does not represent a government orientation. The sole purpose of this approach by the SQI is to collect information regarding the interest of actors in the construction industry to offer the SQI the work described.
1. SUBJECT OF THE CALL FOR INTERESTThe Société Québécoise des Infrastructures (hereinafter “Society”) invites actors in the construction industry to participate in the project to repair the envelope and exterior landscaping of the Quebec City Courthouse (hereinafter “QCC”) in an integrated project delivery method (hereinafter “IPD”), to express their interest.
The main objective of this Call for Interest is to survey the market among actors in the construction industry to understand the issues and opportunities that they anticipate in connection with the deployment of IPD including their interest in being a signatory of the contract.
No contract will be concluded directly with an enterprise as a result of its participation in this Call for Interest. However, following the results of this process, a procurement process could be launched to possibly select the enterprises which will participate in the project.
Responding to this Call for Interest is not a prerequisite for entering into a contract or for being authorized to participate in the upcoming procurement process.
2. RULES FOR INTERESTED PARTIES
2.1 Information Request
The interested enterprise that wishes to receive information or details regarding the Call for Interest may do so, in writing, by contacting the representative of the SQI at the following contact details, taking care to mention the number of the Call for Interest, before the deadline for receiving responses so that the SQI has a reasonable time to respond:

The Society requires the interested enterprise to contact this person exclusively within the framework of this Call for Interest, unless otherwise indicated on its part.
2.2 Modifications to the Call for Interest
The Society reserves the right to make changes to the Call for Interest documents before the deadline set for receipt of responses or to modify the deadline for receipt of responses. These modifications then become an integral part of the Call for Interest documents and are transmitted, by means of addenda, to the enterprises which have obtained the Call for Interest documents through the Electronic Tendering System (SEAO) or through MERX.
2.3 Language of Communication
The Response Form (Annex B) to this Call for Interest, the General Information (Annex A) as well the presentation of the enterprise must all be in French. All responses to additional information required from the Society must also be provided in French.
