Description

SaskPower is preparing to initiate a competitive solicitation for a nominal 370 Megawatt combined cycle gas turbine facility near Lanigan Saskatchewan. The plant will have the ability to operate in either flexible simple cycle or efficient combined cycle mode. The competition is planned to be issued in the first quarter (Q1) of 2023. SaskPower intends to issue an RFP with a three-phase evaluation approach including mandatory requirements, scored criteria and an interview/demonstration phase. The intent is for the successful vendor to enter into an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) arrangement with SaskPower.
