REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP 71.6, FH30 HM Doors for PORT LANDS FLOOD PROTECTION AND ENABLING INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT in the CITY OF TORONTO

EllisDon is the Construction Manager for the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation (TWRC) Port Lands Flood Protection and Enabling Infrastructure Project (PLFPEI). EllisDon invites eligible companies, firms or joint ventures to submit proposals for Hollow Metal doors and frames for the project, located in the City of Toronto.
This work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Subcontractor to supply all hollow metal doors, frames, and associated architectural (including auto door operators and push buttons) and electrified hardware, as shown and reasonably assumed on the Contract Documents.
- Subcontractor to install all hollow metal doors, and associated architectural hardware, as shown and reasonably assumed on the Contract Documents. Install of supplied frames by others, install of electrified hardware pieces by others.
- Subcontractor to review all door openings on site prior to fabrication of frames and doors, to confirm designed dimensions, and inform the Construction Manager if there are discrepancies immediately.
- Subcontractor to coordinate with substrate subcontractors to ensure all jambs, headers and footers are per design details, and all sequencing of install is in coordination with the overall construction schedule.
- Subcontractor to provide prime coat to doors and frames prior to delivery to site. Field painting by others (this subcontractor to provide prime coat for field-touch up).
