EOI 2018 - 04 - Lease of Restaurant at the Tumbler Ridge Golf & Country Club

The District of Tumbler Ridge is inviting interested parties to submit a Letter of Expression of Interest for the Lease of the restaurant/lounge at the Tumbler Ridge Golf & Country Club from approximately May 15, 2018 to October 15, 2018 (dependent on season).
 
Proponents interested in leasing the restaurant for a lounge/restaurant/and banquet facility should give consideration to the following criteria in their submission:
 
Information:

1. Restaurant is approximately 2700 square feet on the main floor. (500 sq. ft. kitchen, 2200 sq. ft. dining/banquet area.)
2. Proponent will be responsible for:
   1. Kitchen design and cleaning of all kitchen equipment (Supply and maintenance/replacement will be the responsibility of the District);
   2. Janitorial supplies and services for the above noted areas;
   3. Supply of decorative accents, condiments;
   4. Liquor license; and
   5. Property taxes estimated between $900 -$1,100 per month.

1. Please provide a Letter with the following in your submission:
   1. Proposed gross lease payment per month;
   2. Proposed lease payment to include Hydro and Gas utilities;
   3. Proposal must include payment of property taxes per month in addition to and separate from gross monthly lease payment.

1. Successful proponents must:
   1. Obtain Health Permits;
   2. General Comprehensive Liability Insurance in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00;
   3. Liquor License through the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch;
   4. Any other items necessary for a functioning restaurant; and
   5. Be willing to cater or book large events such as weddings and forums.
