Description

The health unit’s current system is monitored by an alarm monitoring company that is staffed 24/7.The alarm company receives a signal if the power to a refrigerators is interrupted or if the temperature goes outside of 2-8°C, however alarm company staff are unable to differentiate the cause of the alarm.Staff responding to the alarm then need to go onsite to determine the cause of the alarm and respond.

Having the ability to virtually see what is happening with each fridge will enable health unit staff manage response when issues arise.The health unit requires a system that enables management to have easy access remotely via smartphone and that alerts designated staff when the fridge loses power or goes outside of 2-8°C.The health unit also needs a system that can be easily changed as fridge are replaced, added or moved location.

Vendors of the top three proposals selected by the health unit will be offered the opportunity to provide an onsite demo of their product to the health unit.

The health unit will then chose one vendor to install and trial their product in at least two of our offices for a two week period prior to contract commitment.

Upon successful completion of the two week trial, the health unit will then enter into a three-year agreement to purchase the system, including monitoring which will meet the specifications outlined below.
All equipment must be installed, operational and invoiced prior to December 15th 2017.
