The purpose of this Request for Tender (“RFT”) document is to provide sufficient information to potential Bidders to prepare and submit Bids for consideration by the Health Unit for vehicle leasing, subject to the conditions set out herein with a view to potentially entering into a 3-year vehicle lease agreement with the successful Bidder(s) selected in accordance with the RFT process described herein. The Health Unit is seeking a Bid from your company to provide the Vehicles as specified in Part A, Section 5 (herein “Vehicle Specifications”) attached to and forming part of this RFT.
VEHICLES #1: A total of two (2) 2018 (or newer) Vehicles (4 door type body) - as described in the Vehicle Specifications in Part A, Section 5.
VEHICLES #2: A total of four (4) 2018 (or newer) Vehicles (Van type body) - as described in the Vehicle Specifications Part A, Section 5.
Term of lease for each vehicle is 3 years 80,000 km.
The Health unit will accept separate bids for Vehicle 1 and Vehicle 2. The Health unit reserves the right to vary the quantity specified.
Unless otherwise specified, Vehicles #1 and #2 must be new, in good condition, fit for the purpose for which they are being acquired and free from defects. The decision of the Health Unit pertaining to items being rejected is final.
