This Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ) is an invitation by Simon Fraser University (“SFU”) to prospective proponents (the “Proponents”) to submit their response in compliance with this RFSQ. The purpose of this RFSQ is to establish a list of Qualified Hazmat Contractors that SFU will use to deliver specific requests for invitations to bid for work, or to directly award work at SFU’s Burnaby, Surrey and Vancouver campuses.
Subject to the provisions of this RFSQ and other existing SFU rules and policies SFU intends to award work to Qualified Hazmat Contractors on “as-and-when” basis. Work may include capital projects, repair, renewal, maintenance and emergency works, exterior additions/alterations, interior tenant improvements, retrofits as well as refurbishment projects. See RFSQ Section 2.3 for further details. By using a list of prequalified vendors SFU expects provide fair opportunity to Qualified Hazmat Contractors as well as save time and effort in awarding these works.
