Seneca Polytechnic School of Fire Protection Engineering Technology (FPET) is inviting proposals for the supply and delivery of Structural firefighting ensembles, herein referred to as “bunker gear” or “turnout gear” for the Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training Program. The Seneca Polytechnic Pre-Service Firefighter program trains students to the NFPA 1001
Professional Firefighter Standard as per the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office standardized curriculum. The Bunker gear as described in this RFP will be used by Seneca Students and
Employees as protective clothing (PPE) for various structural firefighting and technical rescue training. In addition to providing protection from heat, flames and products of combustion, the
