Description

Science North, Northern Ontario's most popular tourist attraction, invites proposals from qualified firms (janitorial contractors) capable of supplying all labour, equipment, supplies, materials and supervision required to provide janitorial services for our two facilities located in Sudbury, Ontario.

Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities is a priority for Science North and it is a goal the Science Centre wishes to pursue as cost efficiently as possible. We are seeking proposals that outline the best janitorial services possible for our two facilities within the budget set forth in the Request for Proposals.

Science North is an agency of the Province of Ontario. We operate Canada's second and eighth largest science centres, both located in Sudbury, Ontario.

Event Note

A mandatory site tour and meeting will be conducted by Science North during the period September 8 to 10, 2021. The site tour and meeting may be arranged by contacting the Manager, Facility Operations, Science North. Refer to the RFP for contact details.

Unscheduled visits are not permitted.

The purpose of the site visit and meeting is to provide a conducted tour of the site and to brief Proponents on requirements governing the work including occupancy of the existing building during the Work. The site tour and meeting will also permit Proponents to familiarize themselves with the Work and to submit questions regarding this RFP document.

Proponents who have not attended the site visit will be disqualified.
