Science North is undertaking a major renewal of fifty percent of the 4th level of the Science Centre. The focus of this project (with the working title “THINK”) is a complete transformation of this space, including physical renovation and the development of new exhibits and experiences.
Science North requires the services of an experienced and qualified fabrication firm to contribute to the final design, prototyping, fabrication, delivery, and installation of the exhibit components for the THINK project, and invites your firm to submit a proposal.
THINK stands for Tinker,Hack, Innovate, Network and Know and is a place for people of all levels of experience to have fun, authentic and creative experiences with real tools, materials and processes. THINK features a combination of exhibits, challenges, programs and labs designed to engage people of all ages in the discovery of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) learning through an iterative process.It will celebrate the maker movement and the spirit of creativity and innovation.
