Description

This Request for Supplier Qualifications is an invitation by Saskatchewan Power Corporation to prospective Respondents to qualify in accordance with this RFSQ for eligibility to participate in a potential invitational second stage competitive procurement process. Those prospective Respondents that are qualified may be invited to submit a proposal to develop, finance, construct, own, operate, maintain and decommission one of two 200 MW new owner-operated Wind Generation Facilities from which SaskPower will have the exclusive right to purchase metered energy, ancillary services and environmental attributes under a Power Purchase Agreement for a fixed term of thirty (30) years. SaskPower anticipates entering into (i) one 200 MW Power Purchase Agreement with one Successful Proponent for one 200 MW Wind Generation Facility, or (ii) two 200 MW Power Purchase Agreements with different Successful Proponents, each for a 200 MW Wind Generation Facility.

Microsoft Teams Information Session
SaskPower intends to hold a virtual information session using Microsoft Teams at the date and time indicated in Table 1.5. While this is an optional session, Respondents are strongly encouraged to participate in the information session. To participate in the information session, Respondents are to register with the RFSQ Contact, via their email address majorprocurement@saskpower.com, by 5:00 pm CST the day before the event. SaskPower will make an effort to register Respondents whose email is not received by 5:00 pm CST the day before the event, however registration can not be guaranteed.
