Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade at the Poplar River Power Station, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

This Contract is for the replacement, repair, and refurbishment of mechanical equipment for the sewage treatment plant and sewage pump station at Poplar River Power Station.

There will be an Optional Site Meeting at the Poplar River Power Station on June 17, 2021 @ 10:30AM CST.
In order for individuals to be allowed onto SaskPower site, the following conditions are to be met:
- Pre-screening forms MUST be completed and submitted upon arrival at Site. Alternatively, completed forms can be e-mailed to the Procurement Contact identified on the front cover page prior to the Site Meeting. Forms to be completed include and are attached to this Merx upload:
  
  Contractor COVID-19 Compliance Forms
- All attendees are to RSVP no later than June 15, 2021 to confirm their attendance. If confirmation of attendance isn’t received to the Procurement Contact within this time, attendees may not be allowed on site, due to capacity limits.
PPE required including CSA approved hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, hard hat and safety footwear. Additional PPE specific to the COVID-19 pandemic the proponent deems necessary can also be worn.

This opportunity is restricted to suppliers who qualify as a New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) Region Supplier.

This competition is available on MERX, and all amendments, addenda, clarifications, and further instructions will also be posted on MERX.
