This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Supplementary Heating Boundary Dam Power Station - Unit 4, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

This Contract is for the supply and install of a supplementary heating system at Boundary Dam Power Station.

There will be an Optional Site Meeting at Boundary Dam Power Station on May 19, 2021 @ 10:00AM CST.
PPE required including CSA approved hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, hard hat and safety footwear.
Additional PPE specific to the COVID-19 pandemic the proponent deems necessary can also be worn.

Please advise the Procurement Contact, identified on the front cover page of this RFP no later than May 17, 2021 to confirm attendance. Due to COVID-19, SaskPower will be limiting the number of attendees on site to 10 or less. It is preferable to send only one (1) representative of your firm to the Site Meeting.
If more than 10 attendees confirm their presence at the Site Meeting, SaskPower will add additional times and will notify all confirmed attendees of the specific details.

In order for individuals to be allowed onto SaskPower site, the following conditions are to be met:
- Pre-screening forms MUST be completed and submitted upon arrival at Site.

This opportunity is restricted to suppliers who qualify as a New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) Region Supplier.

This competition is available on MERX, and all amendments, addenda, clarifications, and further instructions will also be posted on MERX.

Both a Microsoft Word and an Adobe PDF version of the RFP and Appendix C - Agreement are provided. If there is any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Word version and the PDF version of this RFP and Appendix C - Agreement, the PDF version shall prevail.
