This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals in respect of two (2) separate and distinct Work Packages of the LN – C1S 230kV Line Sustainment Project, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).
Proponents are not required to submit Proposals in relation to each Work Package and may elect to only submit Proposals for the Work Package(s) in which the proponent is interested.
SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
SaskPower is seeking sustainment construction services required to maintain acceptable reliability to the C1S 230kV transmission line, which runs between the Coteau Creek and Swift Current Stations. The scope of work includes spar arm and cross brace replacements on approximately 145kms of transmission line.
The Project consists of two (2) Work Packages, separated into two (2) distinct Sections of Work, Work Package #1 and Work Package #2, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A). It is SaskPower’s intention that there will be a separate Agreement for each Work Package #1 and Work Package #2 respectively.
