RFP20210329 - Internal Audit Advisory Services; Readiness for Value for Money Audit

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP/Proposal) is to solicit Proposals from interested Audit professionals (Proponents) from which RECO will select the Proposal that is most suitable to the interests of RECO and that will lead to the engagement of Audit professionals to perform a review that assesses RECO’s current readiness in the event an AG VFMA (Value for Money Audit) is undertaken.  RECO intends to award a contract based solely on this RFP.
 
The AG defines VFMAs as their means to “assess whether government and broader public-sector activities operate with due regard for economy and efficiency, and whether procedures to measure and report on the effectiveness of how organizations exist, and function properly. This is known as the “value-for-money mandate.”
