Description

Bellrock dam was constructed in 1982 with safety upgrades completed in 2010. The dam is a concrete gravity structure with integral concrete spillway and overflow sections. The dam is in fair to good condition with some map cracking and erosion at the waterlines. A major concrete deterioration is present at the downstream face of the wingwall with its junction with the right pier.

Quinte Conservation is requesting services to supply and install rock anchors per the Hatch report titled “Bellrock Dam Stability Analysis and Anchor Design”. The scope also includes repairing cracks larger than 0.5mm, repairing spalling concrete patch(es) and repair seepage. The conditions, locations and quantity of this scope is best reviewed on site and can be viewed during the Mandatory site visit. Confirm availability to attend mandatory site visit 48 hrs prior.
