Request for Information: Total Automated Solution for Serological Markers

The intent of this RFI is to receive feedback from the marketplace on fully automated random-access analyzers that are able to analyze serological markers, antigens and antibodies associated with infectious diseases.

The research will aim to determine:

The number of vendors available that can provide comprehensive infectious disease panels for serological patient samples on random access testing analyzer(s) with open connectivity to pre-analytical and post-analytical track systems.
A total automated solution for a single PHOL laboratory site and/or multi-site analytical platform options for the testing of all, or the majority of infectious disease markers. The analytical testing solution should include the number of analyzers required for single and/or multi-site options as per test volumes indicated in the RFI.

The total automated solution can be provided by a single vendor or in collaboration with a third-party vendor(s), to provide a total automated solution for the testing of all, or the majority of, infectious disease markers.
Associated costs per test for the following scenarios:

Pre-analytical front-end sample processor, analytical random-access testing platforms and post-analytical storage systems are leased as a bundle.
Analytical random-access testing platforms are leased and pre-analytical front end sample processor and post-analytical storage systems are purchased as capital.

A comprehensive listing of the available infectious disease serological markers in human blood samples and associated sensitivity with specificity for each marker.
Workflow Analysis Summary detailing the analyzer throughput when running multiple analyses from instrument: start-up to shut-down.
Workflow Analysis Summary detailing pre-analytical sample throughput of primary samples, multiple aliquots (minimum of three) to testing analyzers. Also throughput after testing is completed including recapping and time to storage.
