Description

Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) is seeking expressions of interest from Physicians, Surgeons and Radiologists, for the position of Provincial Clinical Lead. This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership to the evolution of the Ontario’s Wait Time Strategy. This opportunity is open to all qualified candidates.

Improving access and efficiencies in order to provide quality healthcare is a priority for the Ontario Government and the Ministry of Health (Ministry). The overarching objective of ATC is to enable improvements in access, quality and efficiency of healthcare services through the strategic implementation and use of information management and information technology (IM/IT) solutions to enable effective performance management and inform resourcing decisions.

The ATC Provincial Clinical Lead role was established to provide expert clinical advice and guidance to the Ministry and ATC in each specific surgical specialty and diagnostic imaging, under which data is being captured in the Wait Time Information System (WTIS).

ATC is currently seeking a Provincial Clinical Lead for each of the following specialties:

1. Clinical Lead – Vascular Surgery
2. Clinical Lead – Oncolgoy Surgery
3. Clinical Lead – General Surgery
4. Clinical Lead – Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery
5. Clinical Lead – Urology Surgery
6. Clinical Lead – Diagnotic Imaging (DI)
