Description

Ontario Health (OH) has 2 locations which require the existing analog CCTV system be removed and replaced with an IP based system.

Basic camera deployment criteria are as follows:

Basic setup and implementation in 2 building locations including:
1. Camera install including -
 config
 positioning
 testing

2. DVR config including -
 camera naming
 motion based recording setup
 coverage verification for each camera
 network connection including time/date NTP setup
 Remote access setup (if required)

3. After install support (options)
Scope of Work
Two buildings-525 University Avenue and 505 University Avenue-require the existing CCTV coax-based cameras to be replaced with IP based cameras:
o 23 cameras on 6 floors at 505 University Avenue
o 28 cameras on 5 floors at 525 University Avenue for a total of 51x HD security cameras with:
 minimum 2K resolution, 3 MP minimum
 Clear dome with secure mount for anti-tamper (metal mount)
 2yr warranty/ support

2x appliance based all-in-one DVRs with:
o 32 camera ports for each building (provide switches if required)
o Each DVR requires the capability to connect 32 IP cameras via Power over Ethernet
o 30 FPS recording min
o Up to 4K camera support
o Variable recording formats
o min 6 TB of storage for at least 60 days storage
o Motion/movement detect based recording for storage management
o Automatic recovery after power failure
o 2yr warranty/support

• Each building should have its own DVR unit
• The new system will be offline/internal so no outside/cloud functionality will be accessible. Monitoring must be accomplished using the internal corporate network.
• OH/CCO cannot provide more than one network switch port at each building so the vendor must provide their own PoE switch ports to support the proposed system.
• For each building the DVR will be stored in the building’s data centre.
• Vendor supplied switches, to connect the cameras, can be installed on floors throughout the building to ensure maximum cable lengths are not exceeded. (The vendor should ensure the correct maximum distances between switches is maintained in their design).
• Plenum rated cable must be used for connecting cameras.
• OH/CCO can only provide 1 LAN port at each building for network monitoring connectivity (inter-building VLAN will be provided).
