Description

This work entails, but is not limited to, the removal of the existing topsoil and subgrade material and the construction of a 1.5m wide separate concrete sidewalk and/or 2.0m wide pin-on mono concrete sidewalk, while maintaining sufficient drainage of boulevards, curb ramps, commercial crossing tie-ins, and curb and gutter tie-ins that will be required to ensure the new sidewalk construction ties into existing roadway and property features. There will also be boulevard re-grading as identified in the drawings. This contract may also include other miscellaneous concrete construction and related work. All catch basins, manholes and valves in direct conflict with the construction of the sidewalk will require an adjustment.

There will be some retaining block wall construction including minor landscaping work required at locations identified on the plans.

There will also be some minor landscaping work to be completed with this project. This includes topsoil and sod behind the sidewalks and the removal and disposal of
the existing sod.

The overall work is outlined in the attached summary from estimated quantities.
