1090-PUB-T18-139 - Sidewalk Construction and Repair - 2018

The intent of this tender call is to obtain a Tender to perform the work to complete the construction of concrete sidewalk repairs located within The City of Red Deer for Unit Price Contract, in accordance with the Tender Documents. The work is split between 2 Parts. The proponent is invited to bid on either one or both Parts. It is the City’s intention to evaluate each Part separately. The work in each Part consists of the removal, disposal and replacement of sidewalks, curb and gutter, sidewalk crossings and curb ramps; including waste excavation, subgrade and gravel base course preparation, and supply and placement of topsoil, seed and/or sod. The Work in Part 1 is also comprised of grinding, grouting and sawcutting of sidewalks, sidewalk crossings and para ramps. In summary:

Part 1
• 2150 Lineal meters of sidewalk, curb and gutter replacement;
• 1750 Square meters of sidewalk replacement;
• 2500 Lineal meters of landscaping;
• 170 Lineal meters of grinding;
• 1300 Lineal meters of grouting; and
• 10 Lineal meters of sawcutting.

Part 2
• 1450 Lineal meters of sidewalk, curb and gutter replacement;
• 2000 Square meters of sidewalk replacement; and
• 1150 Lineal meters of landscaping
