RFP 2018-004 - Security Guard Services

The Calgary Public Library requires an experienced vendor, with corporate registration in Canada to provide unarmed security guard services for the libraries. The services required include, but is not necessarily limited to:
• Security services at the Central, Louise Riley, Memorial Park and Nicholls Family libraries which includes creating a welcoming and safe environment, handling all security incidents in the building, reporting incidents to staff through an incident report managing system, directing customers to appropriate staff to answer questions, preventing drunk and disorderly customers from entering the building, patrolling floors and addressing code of conduct issues using appropriate customer servicers techniques and banning customers when appropriate through means provided to them by the Library.
