RFP#2018-03 - Grass Cutting\Landscaping and Snow Clearing

Foundations for the Future Charter Academy (FFCA)
operates seven school sites in Calgary located as follows:

Northeast Elementary – St. Clement School – 1140 Mayland Drive NE
Northwest Elementary – St. Lawrence School - 719 – 44 Avenue NW
North Middle School – Greenview School – 211 McKnight Blvd. NE
Southeast Elementary - Alice M Curtis School - 9711 Academy Drive SE
South Middle School - Andrew Davison School - 8710 Ancourt Road SE
Southwest Elementary - Southwood School - 898 Sylvester Crescent SW
FFCA High School – Montgomery School – 2116 MacKay Road NW

FFCA is also responsible for the building and grounds maintenance of the
Calgary Girls Schools
these two locations are included as part of this RFP as follows:

Lakeview School – 6304 Larkspur Way SW
Bel-Aire - 1011 Beverly Blvd SW


1. We are seeking proposals for landscaping for the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 growing seasons.

Decorative grass cutting once a week during the growing season. Flower bed maintenance once in the spring and fall. Field cutting is to be quoted as a separate cost to be billed once a month based on the number of cuts done at each site.

Site plans that show the area covered under landscaping are provided. The approximate field area at each site is highlighted in green while the decorative is highlighted in yellow.


2. We are seeking proposals for snow clearing for the 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 winter seasons.

Snow clearing is required before 7:30 AM each morning after a snow fall of more than 0.5 cm.

Site plans that show the school sites and highlighted areas to be cleared are also provided.
