SCOPE OF WORK:
The City of Moncton is seeking to engage the services of a professional, qualified, experienced, and certified Landscaping Contractor to supply, deliver, install, and maintain street trees within a designated residential area during the Fall 2018 season.
The City is seeking to have all tree planting activities completed ON OR BEFORE NOVEMBER 15, 2018, if possible.
Trees will be planted in the center of City boulevards between the curb and sidewalk (if there is a sidewalk at the planting location), or between the curb and property line when no sidewalk is present, or on City lands with unobstructed access.
A list of tree locations shall be provided to the successful Landscaping Contractor upon award of the Quotation.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
The successful Bidder must be a member in good standing of the CANADIAN NURSERY LANDSCAPE ASSOCIATION (CNLA), or have current active membership in LANDSCAPE NEW BRUNSWICK (LNB).
The successful Bidder must have a Landscape Industry Certified Technician (CLT), or a Certified Journeyperson in the Landscape Horticulture Trade in New Brunswick on staff. The CLT is not required to be on-site at all times; however, they will be responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with municipal, landscaping, and horticultural industry standards.
Proof of CNLA or LNB membership shall be required from the successful Bidder prior to the award of the Quotation in order to receive a contract from the City of Moncton. Failure to provide evidence of CNLA or LNB membership in a timely manner may result in your bid receiving no further consideration, and no contractual agreement being established between the parties.
