201900733 – CONSTRUCTION – Norway House Detachment

REQUIREMENT:

The purpose of this project is for the construction of a new detachment in Norway House, Manitoba. All associated site work is included. See attached specifications and drawings for detailed scope of work.

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

Pursuant to GC6 of the General Conditions, the resulting Contract will include the provisions for changes in the Work at the request of the Engineer.

Aboriginal Participation Component (APC):

The APC is a mechanism designed to meet the Government of Canada’s objectives of encouraging Aboriginal socio-economic development through federal contracting opportunities. The APC is also designed to encourage Industry Respondents to contribute to creating long-term sustainable and meaningful socio-economic benefits for Aboriginal people, businesses and communities. The Contractor must ensure that at least 10% of the value of the work is subcontracted to an Aboriginal person or business as per Annex ‘E’.
