Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans have a requirement that consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:

Removal, salvage, and reinstate existing floating docks including all its components complete with new 13 mm chains, shackles, and gangways supplied by contractor. Demolition and removal of existing round timber cribwork as identified on drawings. Removal and disposal of existing fill slipway. Dredge existing harbour bottom to depths as identified on drawings. Dispose suitable material in areas identified to make gravel laydown area. Construction of two new treated timber floating dock access cribs. Construct new upland approach complete with granular base topping and rip-rap protection.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that the bidders visit the site to review and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, materials needed and the means of access to the site.
