Advance Contract Award Notice – 15-22080 - Fibergrate Composite Structures

An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that a department or agency intends to award a contract for goods, services or construction to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier. The purpose of this ACAN is to advertise to the supplier community that the NRC intends to negotiate and issue a service agreement to Fibergrate Composite Structures for a design and fabrication service.

The Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering group (OCRE) offers specialized consulting and applied research services in ocean engineering, coastal engineering, water resources management, marine safety and marine renewable energy assessments and technology. Our work supports industries that operate in harsh environments characterized by ice, wave, wind and cold temperature. NRC OCRE serves the needs of clients in a variety of sectors, including: offshore oil and gas, marine transportation, marine and waterfront infrastructure, hydropower production, water resource management, standards and regulation, engineering design and construction. Our clients include start-ups, technology innovators and global industry leaders. The (OCRE) group is looking to upgrade hardware and Composite Structures to meet on-going health and safety objectives. The (OCRE) has platforms/rails and ladders already installed in both the laboratory in St. John’s and the facility in Ottawa. In order to achieve unification and meet health and safety requirements NRC would like to have the OEM of the existing structures upgrade where applicable and add additional structures.de livraison : Indiquée ci-dessus
