The selected proponent (the "Supplier") will develop and deliver an Industrial Land Strategy to identify the County’s competitive advantages and opportunities for industrial development and develop specific tactics to encourage new industrial development in key areas. This Strategy will focus on optimizing land use, prioritizing investments in infrastructure, attracting new industrial investments, and accelerating the development of industrial lands across key target areas within the County such as the Local Employment Area, North of Yellowhead, West of Highway 21, and the Heartland Transition Area. The Strategy will include a detailed action items that guide infrastructure development, land use policy enhancements, and responsive development standards through the creation of actionable recommendations, including a detailed implementation framework, proposed bylaw or policy amendments, and innovative strategies to enhance investment readiness and industrial growth.
