2025-01 - Expression of Interest - Leasing Opportunities for Relocation of Ladysmith Family Practice

Island Health is exploring leasing opportunities as described in this  EOI that will provide the best overall location, value, and functional space.

The requirements for the Premises may be achieved through a lease agreement for an approximate target occupancy date of Summer 2027.  Any tenant improvements may be completed by the Landlord prior to the occupancy date, with the costs amortized into the rent.

Island Health is seeking to secure and occupy approximately six thousand, eight hundred and seventy (6,870) usable square feet of space on a barrier-free single floor in a building within the Town of Ladysmith.  Ground floor space is preferred.  If located on a higher floor an elevator and full barrier-free accessibility is to be provided. The intended occupant will be a family practice clinic, which is an Island Health operated longitudinal primary care clinic and will be relocated from its current location at the Ladysmith Community Health Centre.
