RFB for the provision of a single audit services provider to administer and execute food safety compliance verification audits in provincially licensed abattoirs and freestanding meat plants for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness’ Meat Plant Audit Program (MPAP)
Scope of Work
The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (OMAFA) requires a single audit services provider to administer and execute food safety compliance verification audits in provincially licensed abattoirs and freestanding meat plants for the Ministry’s Meat Plant Audit Program (MPAP). There are approximately 410 provincially licensed meat plans in Ontario that must each be audited at least once in Fiscal Years 2024/25 and 2025/26.

Bidders must demonstrate their ability and capacity to meet the Deliverables of MPAP, including the delivery of food safety compliance verification audits at all provincially licensed meat plants throughout Ontario, in all twelve (12) geographical areas of OMAFA’s Meat inspection Program.
