06-26-2024 - 92449 Brentwood Bay and 91967 Mill Bay Trestle and Berth Life Extensions

This Request for Proposal identifies a business opportunity  to perform structural repair or replacement of select trestle and berth elements (e.g., timber trestles, vehicle apron and ramp, and all marine structures) at Brentwood Bay and Mill Bay terminals.

The scope of work for the Project includes all labour, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to repair or replace the timber trestles, vehicle apron and ramp, and all marine structures (e.g. pontoons, wingwalls, and floating leads)

An optional site visit at both Brentwood Bay and Mill Bay terminals will take place on July 25th, 2024. Site visit attendees must sign-in with the BC Ferries representative upon arrival. The Proponent that will attend the site visit must inform the BC Ferries Terminal Construction representative Floridor Oprea via email of their intent, three business days in advance of the scheduled date and time to secure attendance. Proponents are to state the name of the company they represent and the name(s) of attendees. BC Ferries requests proponents to limit attendance to two personnel per proponent. Further information including specific location and parking to be provided via email once attendance is secured. Personal protective equipment is required during the site visit; including steel toe boots, hi-vis vests and personal flotation device.
