Description

Supply Ontario intends to qualify new Bidders for the existing multi-vendor, enterprise-wide Vendor of Record arrangement (“VOR”) for Security Guard Services. The VOR was established for a period of five years for use by the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and made available to non-OPS entities on an optional basis with the effective date from December 2, 2023, to December 1, 2028.

Supply Ontario’s intention for this VOR’s first annual refresh is to add potential new vendors that may qualify to be on the VOR for the remaining period of four years from December 2, 2024, to December 1, 2028.

This also provides the opportunity for existing Vendors to voluntary bid during this year one Annual Vendor Refresh for any region it was not previously awarded.

The existing vendors are not to bid on this refresh.
Scope of Work
Vendors will be required to provide Security Guard Services as further defined in the Vendor of Record arrangement (“VOR”) for various locations across the province.

Vendors are to provide licensed guards, including French fluent guards as may be requested to monitor and protect assets, provide crowd control, and ensure entrants to facilities/properties. Security guards are expected to provide an authoritative yet courteous presence in addition to providing reliable security services on their assignments.

Security guards and Vendors are expected to operate in full compliance of, but not limited to, the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005 (PSISA).
