BR25TFF005 - BR25TFF005 Boundary Pre-Plant Brushing

This project is for manual pre-plant brushing of approximately 45.5 hectares, across 6 cutblocks, within the Boundary Field Team Timber Supply Area.
The successful contractor should anticipate all types of weather during the seasonal work window. It is expected that the contractor completes work within the guidelines of the work progress plan regardless of weather conditions while adhering to the Wildfire Act and Regulations. The contractor can expect steep uneven road surfaces and a 4X4 truck is recommended and necessary to access the treatment units. 
These Treatment Units require additional brushing treatments as they are scheduled for a fill plant due to repeated crop failure. Brushing for all types of competition: herbaceous, deciduous, any vegetation with aggressive canopy closure. Additionally, it is required to create and brush plantable spots throughout the contract. This may require hand piling on rock, nonproductive standard units, or areas outside brushing boundaries to complete contract objectives. Stacked brushing or directional falling may be accepted if desired plantable spots are achieved. Plantable spots are the main outcome of the brushing treatment. However, any existing conifers will also need to be treated as a standard brushing contract would require (1.25 m treatment area).
