24.38 - General Contractor Partners

The intent of this RFP is to identify one or more Proponent(s) with whom ATB may enter into negotiations regarding a Formal Agreement the provision of some or all of the following goods and/or services:

Provide General Contractor services for ATBs real estate portfolio which includes branches, agencies and corporate space. Services may also include any construction projects that ATB takes on for its wholly owned subsidiaries which are predominantly located in Alberta.

The types of construction that ATB takes on come in two different streams; Major Capital Projects including renovations and refreshes (up to $1,000,000 CAD) or Minor Capital Projects including minor renovations and life cycle projects (up to $250,000 CAD). For the purposes of this RFP please indicate the project stream(s) you are interested in submitting for consideration.

*Project value is not an indicator of complexity or classification of a Major or Minor Project. The values shared are meant to be part of a holistic approach to classifying a project as either Major or Minor.

The successful proponent(s) would act as the prime contractor and shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete work projects as indicated by the scopes of work generated for each initiated project. Note that any contracts signed as a result of the RFP award do not guarantee work. Project plans and scope will be shared with successful partners for quote and the highest quality response will be awarded the work.
