24-012 - RFI 24-012 Personal Safety Screening Equipment

The City of Calgary has a mandate to manage threats, risks and vulnerabilities, including physical security handling and screening. This applies specifically to City facility visitors – particularly, those who attend City Council meetings.

The City of Calgary’s Corporate Security has a business need to replace the current personal safety screening equipment with new improved technology that will allow identification of a wider range of prohibited items and can screen more visitors within the same or shorter period of time. This will help Corporate Security meet emerging business and security requirements, sustain or improve service levels and mitigate a number of risks to the organization.
