The County of Stettler No. 6 invites quotes for the price per litre for the 2024 Supply and Application of MG-30
(volumes will be based on demand)

For reference purposes only, the approximate following quantities of MG-30 were purchased by the County last year :
2023 – 354,817.00 litres (estimate only)
Please note the disclosure of quantities does not hold the County responsible for any minimum or maximum amount in 2024, but is for reference purposes only.
Actual program quantities for 2024 will vary depending on ratepayer participation, cost and Council approved projects.
Supplier to state any conditions regarding minimum order or price variations based on overall quantity in quotation.
The Contractor shall supply a self-powered pressure distributor capable of delivering a controlled and uniform application of brine. Distributors shall be equipped with computerized controls or flow meters in metric easily identifying the desired application rate. Checks will be performed on site through tank-mounted volume indicators or dipstick to ensure material delivery rates as specified.
The Contractor must be able to provide the quantities applied to each application/site at the end of day.
Please include your price per litre, along with:
• proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance and Auto Insurance for no less than $2,000,000
• WCB Clearance Letter
• Certificate of Recognition (COR) or Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) issued by the Alberta Construction Safety Association

The County of Stettler No. 6 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and to waive irregularities and informalities at its discretion. The County reserves the right to accept a quote other than the lowest quote without stating reasons. By the act of submitting its quote, the Bidder waives any right to contest in any legal proceeding or action the right of the County to
award the work to whomever it chooses, in its sole and unfettered discretion, and for whatever reasons the County deems appropriate.
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the County may consider any other factor besides price and capability to perform the work that it deems in its sole discretion to be relevant to its decision, including but not limited to the following:
- Previous experience the County has with the bidder
- Experience that the bidder has in successfully completing similar projects
