Description

Purchase from the Alberta Water & Wastewater Operators’ Association (AWWOA) in-person delivery training courses to be delivered on a set schedule at City facilities for the next five (5) years. This training is required for water and wastewater certified Operators employed by The City to obtain and maintain professional certification which is a requirement for their jobs.

AWWOA is the sole source in the Province of Alberta for discipline-specific mandatory water and wastewater certification training endorsed by AEPA. These courses include, but are not limited to, 2-day Entry Level Training, Level 1 Water Distribution Certification Exam Preparation, and Level 1 Wastewater Collection Certification Exam Preparation.

“Notice is hereby given by The City of Calgary (“The City”) of its intent to enter into contract with Alberta Water & Wastewater Operators’ Association for the provision of in-person delivery of mandatory discipline-specific water and wastewater operator certification training courses for a term of 5 years.”
