24TDR907 - Ignition Trailer interior build

The Alberta Wildfire Ignition program operates 10 bumper pull trailers throughout the province. During deployments, these trailers are towed to remote parts of the province over unmaintained roads. These deployments and use of the trailers leads to excessive wear, tear, and degradation to the roadworthiness of these units. The Alberta Ignition program strategic plan outlines the replacement schedule of these units to ensure operability and effectiveness of the ignition program. The Program has obtained 3 trailers for this year, and now require the interiors of them to be outfitted with shelving, and workspaces and storage to the Provincial standard.

The objective of this project is to ensure that all of Alberta’s Ignition programs trailers remain the same inside. This will allow any ignition specialist to go into any trailer and know where items are located. This leads to more efficient and effective ignition operations.
