Notice of Intent to Award a Contract
Notice is hereby given that the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to CREATECH (the “Service Provider”) who is a Value-Added Reseller (“VAR”) for SAP Canada Inc. for the following:
• SAP Licensed Software and Support Services
The contract will be for one (1) year from January 01, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

Background
The City of Abbotsford issued RFP 1220-2018-2177 – SAP Support Partner in 2018. CREATECH was the top ranked proponent and was awarded the contract starting January 01, 2019 for a term of three years with two, one-year options to renew. The contract expires on December 31, 2023 with no option years remaining.
CREATECH is a Value-Added Reseller for SAP Canada Inc and is certified support partner to support with licensing and support services.

Scope of Services
The scope of the required services generally consists of the following:
a. Acting as the City’s SAP Canada Certified Support Partner in a manner best suited to the City.
b. Defining of new license type to reduce software support and maintenance costs.
c. Help identify proper license usage e.g. direct and indirect accesses to avoid any compliance issues.
d. Provide help in ROE assessment if to retain existing licenses or trade in for new license type.
Rationale for Contemplating a Direct Award
The City is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons:
• To ensure continuity of SAP Software Licensing and Support Services and avoid any business operational disruptions due to a transition or change of supplier while the City prepares solicitation documents to issue to the market in 2024.

Contract Value:
The value of the contract is expected not to exceed $225,000.00 CAD plus applicable taxes.
