RFP 2023-0170 - Preferred Supplier Agreement for Compressed Gases, Liquid Nitrogen, Dry Ice and Minor Equipment

The University of Alberta (the “University”) is inviting Proposals for the supply of Compressed Gases, Liquid Nitrogen, Dry Ice and Minor Equipment with the intent of implementing a Preferred Supplier Agreement(PSA).

The University is seeking to enter into a long term business relationship with a Proponent to supply Compressed Gases, Liquid Nitrogen, Dry Ice and Minor Equipment while improving services and achieving a high level of user satisfaction. The estimated total spend of these products is approximately one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) annually.

The University intends to issue an Agreement for a six (6) year term with the option to renew for three (3) additional three (3) year extensions. Such renewal options would be considered based on satisfactory performance in the initial term and mutual agreement for subsequent terms.

While it is the intent of the University to award a non-exclusive PSA to a single Proponent, the University reserves the right at its sole and unfettered discretion to award separate contracts.
