Description

The Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services is seeking proposals from interested parties who have a minimum of 3 years experience to deliver career and employment services including job placement and work exposure to individuals with disabilities and multiple barriers in the following Service Areas:
A. Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Vegreville and area
B. Westlock, Athabasca, Barrhead and area

The focus of this RFP is the delivery of Career, Employment and Information Services (CEIS), Workforce Development – Persons with Disabilities (WD-PWD) and Job Placement services to persons with disabilities and multi-barriered Albertans who face unique challenges entering or re-entering the workforce.

One (1) or two (2) Contracts will be awarded to deliver the Services outlined in this RFP. One Contract will serve 'Service Area A' and a second Contract will serve 'Service Area B'. The potential exists for one Proponent to be awarded both Contracts. In this case, one combined Contract would be awarded.

Payment of contracted services will be on a Fixed Fee for Service basis.

The expected Contract duration will be from January 1, 2024 to September 30, 2026, including twenty-four (24) months of active services, three (3) month plan management, and up to six (6) months follow-up services, for a total of thirty-three (33) months. The Province may extend the Contract, under the same terms and conditions, up to an additional twelve (12) months to perform the Services.

Questions or concerns must be communicated in writing as described in the RFP to: prmnorth.rfp-proposals@gov.ab.ca by September 12, 2023 by 14:00:59 Alberta Time. Questions received after this time will not be accepted. Verbal responses to enquiries are not binding on any party. The Province will post all written questions and answers on APC.
