Description

The Ontario Financing Authority (OFA) is an agency of the Province of Ontario. The OFA was created under the Capital Investment Plan Act, 1993 and reports to the Minister of Finance. The OFA’s responsibilities include managing the borrowing and investment activities of Ontario, its Crown Agencies and other public bodies.

The OFA is heavily reliant on technology and information technology for conducting its business, including the Deliverables requested in this RFB. The IT infrastructure is also the foundation of the OFA’s Business Continuity Plan.
Scope of Work
The objective of this RFB is to procure Internet provider and DoS Protection Services, including related maintenance and support services, for the OFA’s Primary Site (together, the “Services”).

The OFA plans to select two (2) Vendors to deliver the Services. The OFA requires two (2) Internet connections for the Primary Site to enable redundant internet access. Each of these connections shall be provided by a separate Vendor to ensure entrance and carrier redundancy.

The OFA currently owns its own IPv4 address space and will peer with each Internet provider to ensure OFA’s autonomous system (AS) and IP address space (/24) is announced.
