Description

NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below:

Item 1:
GSIN: N1305 – Ammunition, through 30 mm
UNSPSC: 46101601 – Defence or law enforcement ammunition

Description: Cartridge, 7.62mm x 39 Ball FMJ 122gr Ammunition

The requirement is for the supply to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) of Cartridge, 7.62mm x 39 Ball FMJ 122Gr Ammunition. The cartridge is used with the Assault Rifle AK-47 for familiarization training.

Quantity: 520,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan on or before 01 March 2025

780,000 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario on or before 01 March 2025

Unit of Issue: Each, per cartridge

1. Security Requirements
There are no security requirements associated with this procurement.

2. Controlled Goods
This procurement may be subject to the Controlled Goods Program

3. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

4. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
