Nature of Requirements:

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to maintain handicap chair lifts across the Atlantic Region.

Objectives: The work under this Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) includes but is not limited to the provision of all labour, consumables, tools, supervision and equipment necessary to perform minor repairs, or minor construction and maintenance, or replacement of handicap lifts, or any combination of the three.

Deliverables: The Offeror must provide services at all of the following locations;

Work Included:

The Offeror must provide, on a call-up basis, specialized labour, materials, tools and equipment to perform maintenance, material supply, removals, and construction work relating to handicap chair and wheelchair lifts.

The Contractor must perform the following work, relating to handicap chair and wheelchair lifts and systems;

- Design and certification services
- Estimation, preparation and coordination of work.
- Minor carpentry construction, or maintenance repairs, or both and related work
- Mechanical work, including but not limited to, sheet metal, machining, millwright work and welding
- Electrical work including, but not limited to, ballast, fixtures replacement and supplying conduits
- Minor interior finish work, including, but not limited to plastering and painting
- Labour work including, but not limited to clean up and debris removal

Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.

Duration of Standing Offer and Time Frame for Delivery:

Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of contract award to March 31, 2025, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
