Langara College (“Langara” or the “College”) is interested in receiving Expressions of Interest from organizations who have the technical capacity and capability to create training scenarios for VR and the desktop environment. Langara College’s Applied Research Centre is looking to find a suitable vendor, if one exists in the market, to investigate the incorporation of simulations into the training of early childhood educators. The use of simulation for training purposes has been well established in commercial aviation and nursing, but not in early childhood education. -OR- Langara College (“Langara” or the “College”) is interested in receiving Expressions of Interest from organizations who has the innovative, creative, technical capacity and capability to create virtual reality (VR) and desktop environment training scenarios to develop soft skills, such as empathy, for diverse lived experiences and incorporating high level communication skills.
