This project intends to promote communication, coordination, and collaboration in the areas of trauma, trauma risk and resilience, and trauma-informed care across the education system. This project will identify, evaluate and make recommendations for the future development of toolkits and training modules that encompass promising practices in support of trauma-informed care.

The Contractor’s lead Resource (an Alberta-Licensed Psychologist) will perform a thorough review of current mental health projects funded by Alberta Education, that address trauma-informed care with an Indigenous lens, and determine best practices for vicarious trauma work with educators.
