Description

Located in the city of Prince George, B.C., the University of Northern British Columbia (“UNBC” or the “University”) is primarily an undergrad research-intensive university.
Organizationally there are five faculties spanning all education areas at the university. UNBC has approximately 500 faculty members and has an average student registration of 3500.
Research is reflective of the geographic location of the University and often focuses on resource industry topics impacting indigenous communities and rural studies.

The Infrastructure Services (IS) group within the Information Technology Service (ITS) department is looking to improve the process by which administrative access rights are provided to end users.

UNBC prefers a SaaS solution with no on-campus license server requirement.

This RFP will be a 3-stage evaluation. A short list from the initial evaluation will be made after reference checks are completed.
The short list will be invited for 1-hour virtual demonstrations.
A further short list of Proponents will be invited to create an environment within the University network for ITS to test and deploy to a handful of machines on campus.
