Description

The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) is seeking expressions of interest from motivated and environmentally aware individuals to create and deliver climate action and awareness workshops. These workshops will be delivered to schools across the regional district. The workshops will focus on waste reduction and landfill diversion. The purpose of the position is to design, organize, coordinate and deliver workshops to schools within the SLRD. The aim of the workshops is to reach all grade 4, 7 and 10 students, with the goal of inspiring interest in, and understanding of, local, regional and global waste management issues.
